§ 203q. Registration and recertification

(a) Every three (3) years, every person who possesses a license to practice nursing shall recertify his license pursuant to the laws in effect in Puerto Rico.

(b) Every female or male nurse must complete the application for Registry of Health Professionals of the Department of Health of Puerto Rico as provided by §§ 3001 et seq. of Title 24, known as the “Act for the Integral Reform of Health Services of Puerto Rico”. He shall accompany his application with a certified check or postal or bank money order for fifteen dollars ($15) drawn to the order of the Secretary of the Treasury. The funds thus collected shall be covered into the Health Fund for the exclusive use of the Board of Female and Male Nurse Examiners of Puerto Rico.
