§ 2639. Penalties

Any violation of § 2637 of this title shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall entail a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500), nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or a term of imprisonment of not less than ninety (90) days, nor more than six (6) months, or both penalties, in the discretion of the court.

In the case of subsequent convictions, they shall entail a penalty of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000), nor more than fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000), or a term of imprisonment of not less than one hundred eighty (180) days, nor more than three (3) years, or both penalties, in the discretion of the court. When the person convicted is a draftsman, the court shall remit a copy of the sentence to the Board of Examiners of Draftsmen and the College of Draftsmen.
