(a) To be of legal age and have resided in Puerto Rico for an uninterrupted term of six (6) months immediately prior to the date of application, except for sporadic trips out of the country for medical, business, or study purposes or pleasure.
(b) To hold a bachelor’s, master’s or doctor’s degree in health education from an accredited university or college as the case may be.
(c) To have approved the examination of the Board on the matters fixed in the regulations.
(d) To have completed the year of public service in a health facility where, in the opinion of the Secretary of Health, his services are most needed.
(e) To have filed a penal history certificate before the Board.
Any change adopted by the Board regarding the aforementioned requirements shall only apply to those students who begin their studies after the modification or extension thereof.
