§ 2020. Penalties

Any person practicing the profession of expert electrician without duly being a member of the College, or any person who holds him/herself to be or advertises him/herself to be a member of the College and licensed, without being so, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be penalized with a fine of not less than one thousand dollars ($1,000), nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or be imprisoned for a term not to exceed six (6) months, or both penalties at the discretion of the court. In cases of repeat offense, the fine shall not be less than two thousand dollars ($2,000) nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000).
