Without it being understood as a limitation, the Association shall have the following duties:
(a) To hold at least one (1) regular annual assembly of members or their delegates, in case the Association is organized by districts or municipalities, to elect the members of the Board of Directors, and to consider any other matter that shall be submitted to the determination and approval of the members or delegates, pursuant to §§ 582—582i of this title and the general regulations of the Association.
(b) Contribute to the improvement of the practice of the barbering and hair styling profession in Puerto Rico.
(c) To promote better working and living conditions for its members and their families.
(d) To defend the rights and welfare of its members and offer assistance and aid for such purposes.
(e) To promote fraternal relations and collaboration among all its members.
(f) To promote and maintain the practice of the barbers and hair stylists profession within the strictest principles of professional ethics and public morality.
(g) To carry out at least one annual audit of all Association funds by independent public accountants and according to recognized public accounting practices.
(h) Submit a general report to the regular annual assembly on all its activities, achievements and funds.
