§ 281c. Board of Examiners—Members; vacancies and dismissals

Any vacancy that arises on the Board before the expiration of the term of appointment of the member that causes it shall be filled in the same way that the former member was appointed for the remainder of his/her term.

The Governor of Puerto Rico may dismiss any member of the Board after due filing of charges, notice and hearings, for negligence in the performance of his duties, crass negligence in the practice of his profession, conviction for a felony or a misdemeanor that may imply moral turpitude or because his license to practice the profession of medical technologist in Puerto Rico has been suspended, revoked or cancelled.
