§ 3561. Reciprocity

The Board may, by petition of the interested party and upon payment of the fees provided through regulations, register and issue a geologist’s license to any person who holds a license issued by a competent authority of any state, possession or territory of the United States of America, or by any foreign country with requirements similar to those established herein, and which allows reciprocal registration and performance of the profession to geologists licensed in Puerto Rico. [To those effects, the applicant shall comply with the requirements established in this chapter, and the state, territory, or possession of the United States of America or foreign country of which the applicant is a citizen and possesses authorization.] The clauses and conditions of the reciprocity agreements, as well as the standards and procedures for the application of this section, shall be subject to regulation by the Board.
