The Professional Counselors Examining Board is hereby created which shall be in charge of regulating the practice of professional counseling in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, including, but not limited to the granting, denying, suspending and revoking the license for the professional counselors profession in Puerto Rico. The Board shall be attached and shall operate under the budget of the Health Professionals Regulation and Certification Office of the Department of Health of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
