§ 3117a. Licenses—Temporary

The Board shall issue a temporary speech-language pathologist, audiologist and speech-language therapist license to any person who attests before it that he has met the requirements established by this chapter as of July 1, 1988, with the exception of the required examinations. The effectiveness of this temporary license shall be from its date of issuance until the Board summons for the next revalidation examination and, upon taking it, the result is notified to the candidate. The Board shall not extend new temporary licenses to persons who have taken the Board examination and failed on more than two (2) occasions.
