§ 3117. Licenses—Without examination

During the non-extendable term of six (6) months immediately following the effective date of this act, licenses shall be issued without having to comply with examination requirement to practice as speech-language pathologist, audiologist or speech-language therapist to any person who requests it, provided he presents attesting evidence that he holds at least a bachelor’s degree in the case of speech-language therapists, or a master’s degree in the case of speech-language pathologists or audiologists.

A license may also be requested without complying with the requirement of an examination in order to practice the professions mentioned in the preceding paragraph by those persons who so request it, within an unpostponable term of six (6) months immediately following the effective date of this act, provided they present evidence attesting that during the period between April 1, 1984 and June 30, 1988 they already met the requirements established in §§ 3112 and 3113 or 3114 of this title, whichever corresponds.
