§ 1120a. Subcommittee

The Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee shall name a subcommittee consisting of seven (7) members of the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee, and said subcommittee shall be responsible for carrying out activities to solicit, accept, and receive monetary donations and to use same in the most efficient manner in behalf of the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee.

This subcommittee shall be responsible for carrying out those agreements, as well as for the coordination of the projects and services of the members of the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee and the U.S. Geological Survey.

The subcommittee shall recommend to the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee the appropriations corresponding to each participating dependency, and the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee shall study, analyze, make amendments if necessary, and approve the respective approved appropriations. The Committee shall be responsible for carrying out the necessary contracts and/or agreements deemed necessary, and shall review those contracts and/or agreements with the U.S. Geological Survey annually. The subcommittee shall also carry out those agreements and/or contracts deemed necessary with the agencies that comprise the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee.
