§ 9048. Jurisdiction of the Office of Government Ethics

The Associations is under the jurisdiction and subject to the powers of the Office of Government Ethics with regard to its transactions and businesses and to the conduct of its executive officers and members of the Executive Council[sic], who are under the Government Ethics Office Director’s duty to supervise and oversee, as provided in §§ 1854 et seq. of this title, known as the “Puerto Rico Government Ethics Act of 2011”. “Executive officer” shall be understood as any official of the Association who directs any office, instrumentality, division or subsidiary; as well as all those who, as part of their regular or incidental duties, receive or are empowered to negotiate contracts or agreements on behalf of the Association. The Executive Council[sic] and the members of the Board of Directors of the Subsidiary Corporations, the leadership and officials of the Assembly of Delegates, and the Executive Officers of the Association shall have the same obligations and rights of the government employees and officials subject to the provisions and jurisdiction of said office.
