§ 5179. Effect of compliance or noncompliance with settlement

If the debtor should comply with the settlement, his obligations shall be extinguished in the terms stipulated in the same; but, should he fail to comply with the whole or a part of said settlement, the rights of the creditors shall revive for the sums of their original credits which they may not have received, and any of them may demand a declaration in or continuance of bankruptcy.
