§ 488. Noncompliance

Any business or establishment engaged in the distribution or retail sale of motor oil in Puerto Rico that fails to comply with the provisions of this chapter, shall incur an administrative fault and be subject to an administrative fine which shall not exceed five hundred dollars ($500). The Department is hereby authorized to impose these administrative fines for noncompliance with this chapter or the regulations promulgated thereunder. The sum collected on account of said fines shall be covered into the funds of the Department of Consumer Affairs.
