The Board of Election Comptrollers shall hold regular meetings, as determined through regulations, on the date, time, and place agreed on by the Comptrollers, without the need to issue a notice for such purposes. Likewise, in order to discharge its duties, the Board shall hold any necessary special meetings previously coordinated and called for through the Secretary of the Board at the request of any of the Comptrollers. The Board of Election Comptrollers shall be constituted in a plenary meeting and may adjourn from time to time as agreed by its members, starting on July 1 st of the general election year, and during the two (2) months preceding a special or primary election, a referendum, or a plebiscite.
The Board of Election Comptrollers may summon any official of the Office of the Comptroller to appear before it and provide an account of his/her duties or any other matter that has been referred to the Board.
