§ 709. Information Center for a Free Cuba

The Institute shall have an information center whose purpose shall be to gather the documentation collected by the Institute. In order to do this, the Information Center for a Free Cuba shall gather social, political and economic information on Cuba, thus helping the Institute to do its work and studies efficiently and accurately. The Center shall remit all the information gathered and summarized to the Institute for its pertinent analysis and study.

The Center shall be the research and information gathering unit concerning the series of events and the business opportunities for Puerto Rican enterprises in the Cuban market when Cuba is reopened to the world of free and democratic nations.

The Center shall be constituted by a Board of Directors of five (5) members appointed by the Board of Directors of the Institute. Three (3) of the Directors of the Center shall represent the Cuban community in Puerto Rico.
