§ 443. Duties, term of office, and removal—Marshals of district court

District Court marshals and deputy marshals shall be appointed for an indefinite term and while they observe good conduct: but the Chief Justice may dismiss them at any time for good reasons. The duties of District Court marshals and deputy marshals shall be identical to those prescribed by §§ 399—425 of this title.
