§ 320d. Prohibitions

It is hereby declared to be illegal:

(a) To adulterate or blend fine or coarse ground coffee beans with any other grain or substance, with the intention of selling, offering, or having it for sale, without previously obtaining a license from the Department, or without having paid the corresponding fees to the Department of the Treasury.

(b) To sell, offer, have for sale, transport or store adulterated, or illegally blended coffee for the purpose of human consumption, or for industrial purposes.

(c) Introduce coffee into the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico without previously obtaining a license from the Department of Agriculture or without having paid the corresponding fees to the Department of the Treasury.

(d) To allow, collaborate with, consent to or use, with personal knowledge or through another person, an establishment to roast, purchase or process, for the processing of illegally imported coffee, or to adulterate or blend fine or coarse ground coffee beans with any other grain or substance.
