§ 2118. Licenses—Modification of institutional objectives; proceedings

When a private educational institution considers making a substantial or significant alteration that will modify its institutional objectives or mission, or adds an educational level which exceeds the previously granted authorization, it shall notify said changes or alterations to the Secretary, sending him all the pertinent information pursuant to the criteria established in this chapter and its regulations. The Secretary, upon receipt of the above indicated notice, shall issue a provisional license for authorization for a maximum term of two (2) years. Within said period of time, the Secretary shall make a definite adjudication in accordance with the criteria established in this subchapter and in the regulations with regard to the alteration or significant change notified.
