§ 1762. Supervision Committee—Powers and functions

The supervision committee shall have the following powers and functions:

(a) To elect a president, vice-president and a secretary and to accept the members’ resignations.

(b) To establish its procedural rules.

(c) To annually examine all the documents and books of the cooperative.

(d) To communicate recommendations and observations about members’ criticism and claims to the Board.

(e) To issue a written report to the Board of Directors about its work within thirty (30) days before the General Assembly.

(f) To offer suggestions to the Board about deficiencies in procedures and operations.

(g) To act as mediator when there are conflicts between the cooperative and its members.

(h) To fill the vacancies that take place in the committee until the next general assembly is held.
