§ 1611. Accreditation requirements; audit

Every cooperative school shall be bound to comply with the requirements fixed by the Department of Education and to obtain and maintain its accreditation. In addition, it shall be subject to the necessary audits by the Office of the Inspector of Cooperatives to determine if its operation is in harmony with the cooperative laws of the country. A copy of the audit report shall be sent to the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico if the cooperative school under investigation is covered by the Loan Security Program.
