§ 1506. Council—Creation

The Council for the Conservation and Study of Underwater Archaeological Sites and Resources, attached to the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, is hereby created as the government body which is responsible for the protection and custody of these archaeological resources, and to stimulate, in turn, the location, discovery and study of these archaeological values, in harmony with the public policy of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
