§ 107. Industrial School for Women—Purposes

The “Industrial School for Women” shall function under a system tending toward the social, physical, and moral rehabilitation of the inmates, as warranted in each case, by affording them academic and industrial education, so that upon their reinstatement in society after the expiration of their sentences, they be self-supporting and useful to their families and to the community.
