Definitions for the purposes of this chapter:
(a) Private institution taking care of children.— Means any agency, asylum, orphanage, institute, lodging, center, house, mission or refuge devoted during twenty-four (24) hours of the day, for profit or nonprofit, to the care of more than six (6) children.
(b) Foster home.— Is the home of a family devoted to the care of not more than six (6) children coming from other homes or families during the twenty-four (24) hours of the day, for profit or nonprofit.
