Section 9-24-6.1-2 - Development and implementation of program; rules(a) The bureau shall develop and implement a commercial driver's license program to: (1) issue commercial driver's licenses, commercial learner's permits, and related endorsements and restrictions; and(2) regulate persons required to hold a commercial driver's license.(b) Subject to IC 8-2.1-24-18, the program under subsection (a) must include procedures required to comply with 49 CFR 383 through 49 CFR 399.(c) The bureau may adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 to implement this chapter.Pre-2016 Revision Citations: 9-24-6-2; subsection (a) formerly 9-24-6-2.
