Section 28-7-5-38.1 - Violations; civil penalty

If the department determines, after notice and opportunity to be heard, that a person has violated this chapter, the department may, in addition to or instead of all other remedies available under this chapter, impose on the person a civil penalty that does not exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per violation.
