Section 15-16-10-7 - Vacancies(a) If there is a vacancy on the council, the appointing authority who appointed the member whose position is vacant shall appoint an individual to fill the vacancy. The appointing authority shall appoint a member not later than sixty (60) days after the vacancy occurs.(b) The member appointed under this section shall fill the vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term.As added by P.L. 23-2009, SEC.1.
