Pursuant to section 455(a) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, approved December 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 803; D.C. Official Code § 1-204.55(a)) , the District of Columbia Auditor shall be paid at a rate equal to the compensation of the Chairman of the Council established pursuant to section 403(d) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, approved December 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 787; D.C. Official Code § 1-204.03(d)) .
