Section 1-523.11 - Matters Trasmitted to the Council for Approval or Disapproval During a Public Health Emergency.

Notwithstanding any provision of law, during a period time for which the Mayor has declared a public health emergency pursuant to section 5 a of the District of Columbia Public Emergency Act of 1980, effective October 17, 2002 (D.C. Law 14-194; D.C. Official Code § 7-2304.01 ), the review period for any matter transmitted to the Council for approval or disapproval, other than nominations transmitted in accordance with section 2 of the Confirmation Act of 1978, effective March 3, 1979 (D.C. Law 2-142; D.C. Official Code § 1-523.01 ), contract approvals, or reprogrammings transmitted in accordance with section 4 of the Reprogramming Policy Act of 1980, effective September 16, 1980 (D.C. Law 3-100; D.C. Official Code § 47-363 ), shall be tolled if not inconsistent with the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, approved December 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 774; D.C. Official Code § 1-201.01et seq.).
