Section 31-10-1521 - Electioneering near polls

Any person who does any electioneering on election day within any polling place or in any public street or room or in any public manner within one hundred feet of any building in which a polling place is located commits a class 2 misdemeanor.

(1) This section is similar to former § 31-10-1321 as it existed prior to 1975.

(2) Section 803(2) of chapter 462 (SB 21-271), Session Laws of Colorado 2021, provides that the act changing this section applies to offenses committed on or after March 1, 2022.
