Section 13-912 - [Effective 7/1/2024] Passenger cars and station wagons: Class A (passenger) vehicles(a) When registered with the Administration, every passenger car and station wagon, except as otherwise provided in this part, is a Class A (passenger) vehicle.(b) For each Class A (passenger) vehicle, the annual registration fee is:(1) For a vehicle with a manufacturer's shipping weight of 3,500 pounds or less: (i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, $70.50; and(ii) On or after July 1, 2025, $80.50;(2) For a vehicle with a manufacturer's shipping weight of more than 3,500 pounds but not more than 3,700 pounds: (i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, $80.50; and(ii) On or after July 1, 2025, $85.50; and(3) For a vehicle with a manufacturer's shipping weight of more than 3,700 pounds :(i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, $121.50;(ii) On or after July 1, 2025, but before July 1, 2026, $126.50; and(iii) On or after July 1, 2026, $151.50.Amended by 2024 Md.
