(a) The Commission shall adopt regulations to ensure that the Audit Committee operates independently from the management of the Commission.(b) The Commission may: (1) adopt rules of procedure; and(2) delegate other appropriate functions to the Audit Committee.(c) The regulations adopted under this section may provide for a reasonable stipend to compensate only the members of the Audit Committee who are not also commissioners.Added by 2017 Md.
