Rule 5004 - Auditors, Referees And Masters(1) Only an attorney whose name appears on the list maintained in the Prothonotary's Office pursuant to 1920.51A(2) hereof may be appointed by the Court to serve in a special capacity, such as auditor, referee or master; and, when appointed, except when otherwise provided by statute, order or rule of Court, shall: (a) give at least ten (10) days' written notice of the time and place of hearing to the parties;(b) cause a record to be kept of all proceedings before him; and if objection be made to the admission or rejection of evidence, note in the record the offer and its purpose as well as the objection and the grounds therefore; and(c) upon filing his report with the Court, serve a copy thereof forthwith on the parties, to which exceptions may be filed within ten (10) days after service.
