Rule 26.1 - Definitions; Scope(a)Determination of Guilt. "Determination of guilt" means the court's acceptance of a guilty or no contest plea or a guilty verdict by a jury or the court.(b)Judgment. "Judgment" means the court's adjudication that the defendant is guilty or not guilty based on the jury's or the court's verdict, or the defendant's plea.(c)Sentence. "Sentence" means the court's pronouncement of the penalty imposed on the defendant after a judgment of guilty.(d)Scope. Rule 26 does not apply to minor traffic offenses.
