The appropriation of spring water by ground water procedures (see Chapter 1, page 6 for qualifications) is to be filed on the "Application for Permit to Appropriate Ground Water" (Form U.W. 5). All of the requested information must be provided. The fact that a spring is to be developed and the proposed method of development must be noted in the "REMARKS" portion of the application.
