Section 24-1-10 - [Effective until 7/1/2024] Temporary Permit to Practice Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery; Conditions of Practice10.1. A physician granted a temporary permit to practice osteopathic medicine shall abide by all acceptable Rules and laws of the state of West Virginia governing the practice of osteopathic medicine and surgery in this state.10.2. Physicians granted a temporary permit to practice osteopathic medicine and surgery shall practice only in the location specified by the Board and under the supervision of a licensed physician approved by the Board.10.3. A physician who has been issued a temporary permit to practice osteopathic medicine and surgery may apply to the Board for a new temporary permit if the permit holder wishes to change the conditions of the practice as specified in the original application and as further specified in the permit. The Board considers the application for a new temporary permit a transfer, and the application shall be accompanied by letters setting forth any and all reasons for change in conditions. The required documents shall be completed by all parties as in the original application and shall be sent to the Board, together with the application and a non-refundable fee.
