Section 192-3-5 - Evaluations of Interpreters5.1. Evaluations. -- The commission shall collaborate with national organizations to provide evaluation opportunities to interpreters.5.2. The commission is a local test administrator (LTA) for the EIPA program. EIPA evaluations shall be available to educational interpreters working for public schools in West Virginia, pursuant to regulations adopted by the commission.5.3. National certification testing shall be offered by the commission in conjunction with RID and NCI, as determined by both organizations and the commission.5.4. Application fees for evaluations shall be set by the national organizations providing certification or evaluation.5.5. The commission may assess additional fees or travel reimbursement for test administration.
