Section 141-58-6 - State Marksmanship Coordinator

a. A State Marksmanship Coordinator (SMC) shall be appointed by the Adjutant General and assigned to State Area Command, West Virginia Army National Guard. The duties will be to implement the provisions of this regulation, conduct competitive matches at the State level, select and train shooters to represent the West Virginia National Guard in higher level competition, coordinate weapons training at unit level, and promote public marksmanship and weapons training with emphasis on the youth of our communities.

b. Specially qualified personnel in units may be detailed to special duty with STARC, WVARNG to assist the SMC in his performance of duties.
