Section 126-85-54 - Reviewing Official's Completing an Application54.1 A reviewing official may complete an application for a student known to be needy if the household fails to apply. 54.2. When exercising the option in § 126-85-50.1, of this policy, the school official must complete an application on behalf of the student based on the best household size and income information available and make an eligibility determination. The source of the information must be noted. Social security numbers of household members need not be secured and these applications may be excluded from verification. The household must be notified that the student has been certified and is receiving free or reduced price benefits. 54.3. The option in § 126-85-50.1, of this policy, is intended for use in individual situations and does not allow eligibility determinations for categories or groups of children. W. Va. Code R. § 126-85-54
