Section 388-148-1645 - What may I do if I disagree with your decision to modify, deny, suspend or revoke my license, or to disqualify my background check?

You have the right to request an administrative hearing if you disagree with any of these actions. You must request this hearing within twenty-eight calendar days of receiving a certified letter with our decision (see chapter 34.05 RCW and chapter 388-02 WAC). To request a hearing you must send a letter to the Office of Administrative Hearings, P.O. Box 42489, Olympia, Washington 98504-2489, 1-800-583-8271. The letter must have the following:

(1) A specific statement why you disagree with our decision and any laws you believe are related to your claim; and
(2) A copy of the certified letter we sent to modify, revoke, suspend, or deny your license or to disqualify your background check.
