Section 246-215-02415 - Animals-Handling prohibition (FDA Food Code 2-403.11)(1) Except as specified in subsection (2) of this section, FOOD EMPLOYEES may not care for or handle animals that may be present such as patrol dogs, SERVICE ANIMALS, or pets that are allowed as specified under WAC 246-215-06570(2)(b) through (e).(2) FOOD EMPLOYEES with SERVICE ANIMALS may handle or care for their SERVICE ANIMALS and FOOD EMPLOYEES may handle or care for FISH in aquariums or MOLLUSCAN SHELLFISH or crustacean in display tanks if they wash their hands as specified under WAC 246-215-02305 and 246-215-02310(3).Wash.
