Section R523-9-1 - Purpose and Statutory Authority(1) Purpose. This rule defines evidence-based prevention and evidence-informed prevention and prescribes standards for listing a prevention program or intervention on a statewide registry of evidence-based prevention programs.(2) Statutory Authority. These definitions and standards are promulgated by the Utah Department of Human Services through the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH) as authorized by Subsection 32B-2-402(1)(f).(3) Intent.
