Pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1395i-3, each nurse aide is subject to investigation of allegations of resident abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property. DIH or its designated agent shall investigate each complaint and the nurse aide is entitled to a hearing that DIH or its designated agent conducts before a substantiated claim can be entered into the registry.
