Section R315-301-5 - Permit Required(1) No solid waste disposal facility shall be established, operated, maintained, or expanded until the owner or operator of such facility has obtained a permit from the Director and has received a letter of approval from the Director to accept waste.(2) The owner or operator of a solid waste disposal facility shall operate the facility in accordance with the conditions of the permit and otherwise follow the permit.(3) In areas where no public or duly licensed disposal service is available, the on-site disposal, by burial, of on-site generated nonhazardous solid waste from a single family farm or a single family ranch does not require a permit.Utah Admin.
