Section R315-262-216 - Alternative Requirements for Hazardous Waste Determination and Accumulation of Unwanted Material for Laboratories Owned by Eligible Academic Entities - Non-Laboratory Hazardous Waste Generated at an Eligible Academic EntityAn eligible academic entity that generates hazardous waste outside of a laboratory is not eligible to manage that hazardous waste under Sections R315-262-200 through 216; and
(a) Remains subject to the generator requirements of Sections R315-262-11 and R315-262-15 for large quantity generators and small quantity generators, if the hazardous waste is managed in a satellite accumulation area, and all other applicable generator requirements of Rule R315-262, with respect to that hazardous waste; or(b) Remains subject to the conditional exemption of Section R315-262-14 for very small quantity generators, with respect to that hazardous waste.Utah Admin.
