Section 1220-04-04-.03 - DEFINITIONS(1) The following words and terms, when used in these rules, shall have the meaning indicated below: (a) Commission - The Tennessee Public Utility Commission.(b) Utility - Any electric company operating under the jurisdiction of the Commission.(c) Customer - Any person, firm, association, or corporation, or any agency of the Federal, State, or local government, being supplied with electric service by an electric utility.(d) Premises - A piece of land or real estate, including buildings and other appurtenances thereon.(e) Electric Plant - Includes all real estate, fixtures and property owned, controlled, operated or managed in connection with or to facilitate the production, generation, transmission, delivery or furnishing of electricity for light, heat or power.(f) Meter - Unless otherwise qualified, a device that measures and registers the integral of an electrical quantity with respect to time.(g) Meter Shop - A shop where meters are inspected, repaired and tested, and may be at a fixed location or may be mobile.Tenn.
