Section 74:21:02:69 - Contract operator qualifications

A contract operator under § 74:21:02:67 must meet the following criteria:

(1) Hold valid certificates of the class and category for which the system is contracting;

(2) Reside so as to allow response time of not to exceed one hour;

(3) Be on call 24 hours a day and able to be on-site in emergencies; and

(4) Be on-site at least once a week or more as considered necessary by the board based on the technical nature of the system to be operated.
