Section 61:08:09:20 - Hydrostatic pretest - Blowoff valve requirements

Each locomotive and vertical-type boiler must have a blowoff pipe in direct connection with the lowest water space practicable. The pipe must be fitted with a stop valve and run full size without reducers or bushings.
