Section 20:86:01:05 - Renewal of license-forfeiture-restoration

The failure of a licensee to renew their license by the first day of July each year constitutes a forfeiture. However, a person who forfeits his license may have it restored by making written application and payment of the required renewal fee, plus the late fee specified in 20:85:01:04, prior to the first day of January of the next year. If the written application and payment of the required renewal fee is not received prior to the first day of January of the next year, the applicant is required to pay the application fee and the licensing fee required in 20:85:01:06 and submit a written application as required in 20:85:01:03.
