Unless otherwise waived, a manufacturer or distributor of associated equipment may not distribute associated equipment unless it has been approved by the executive secretary. Applications for approval of associated equipment must be made on forms provided by the executive secretary. On written request from the manufacturer or distributor of associated equipment, the executive secretary may waive the approval requirement for associated equipment.
